Baby Shower 2018

     Pictured at the right is my amazing cousin Samantha, who did an amazing job planning my baby shower. I am so grateful to her, my mom and siblings for all of their help, and my Aunt Annette for planning such fun games, and a super cute sign in.
     All who made it, it was so good to see you there! I enjoyed every minute, every gift, every conversation, and every dairy filled treat that I totally indulged in. I ate so many cucumber sandwiches, it's not even funny! Good news is, they can be made dairy free, so I will definitely be making them soon for Lance to try!

      General Conference on my birthday last year: we went to the conference center!! General Conference, no doubt, is one of my most favorite times of the year.        This is a topic I have struggled with for a long time, so I am very excited to begin sharing what I have learned.  As I'm sure many other women do, I struggle with the way I see myself.  I hate looking in the mirror, because I never know if I am going to smile and say "today is going to be okay" or if I am going to look in the mirror and absolutely hate myself.  There are days when I hate not wearing make up because I can see every little "imperfection" on every part of my face, and there are days that I hate wearing makeup, because I still see those "imperfections" and no matter what I do, I can't cover them up.      I have asked my husband all to often, "why am I beautiful?"
